Scandinavian Design Beyond the Myth

The travelling exhibition Scandinavian Design Beyond the Myth, commissioned by the Nordic Council of Ministers, will be open for the public until 18 November 2007 at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb.

Scandinavian Design Beyond the Myth is a design exhibition that presents 50 years of design from the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden). The exhibition shows more than 200 objects from the Nordic countries. It investigates the myths of the renowed Scandinavian design tradition and presents the new design from the Nordic countries.

The exhibition was opened in Berlin 2003 and the exhibition tour has included Milano, Gent, Prag, Budapest, Riga, Glasgow, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo, Vigo, Sofia, Belgrade. Zagreb is the very last town where the exhibition will be shown.
