Tumma

Choreographer Liisa Risu's work Tumma (Dark) approaches nature's constant movement of organisation and disintegration through structures and improvised dance. The Thematic starting point is Samuel Beckett's late prose work Ill Seen Ill Said. Tumma is not an interpretation of the novel, but rather conveys the emotions that Beckett's text evokes; it is a condensed and magical interpretation of the inevitable cycle of life and death. The Platform of Young Choreographers 2010 is organized by the Tala Dance Center.
