Nordic Week 2019: Building Partnership for Sustainable Development
The Nordic Week 2019 was organized in Dar es Salaam for the fourth time. The week highlighted the strong ties and over 50 years of cooperation between Tanzania and the Nordic countries. Finland together with Denmark, Norway and Sweden organized events on climate change, business environment and culture.

This call is to cooperate with Organizations that are already working, or are planning to support smallholder tree plantations in order to establish economically viable, sustainable and inclusive plantation forestry in Tanzania. Eligible activities are tree-growing activities, starting from site preparation and ending to thinning of the stands. Deadline to submit application is 26 April at 12:00 hours.

Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Finland
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania Augustine Mahiga will visit Finland on Monday 25 February and have a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini. The aim of the visit is to promote the relations between the two countries and to discuss topical bilateral and international questions.
