Malawi – where to apply for visa to Finland?

Finland is represented by Norway.

For Malawi nationals and residents, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, is processing Schengen visa applications on behalf of Finland.

Norway Visa Application Centre (VFS Global) in Lilongwe is temporarily closed from 24^th March 2025 until 31^st August 2025. During the temporary closure, the only possibility for a Malawian national/resident to apply for a Schengen Visa is at VFS Application Center for Norway, in Pretoria or Cape Town.

From 1^st of September onwards Malawian nationals/residents can continue applying for a Schengen Visa at VFS Application Center for Norway in Lilongwe.
