Kanerva will travel to Oslo to chair the meeting of Nordic Foreign Ministers

Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva will chair the meeting of Nordic Foreign Ministers, to be organised in Oslo on 31 October. The Foreign Minister Meeting will be held in connection with the 59th Annual Session of the Nordic Council. The topics of discussion will include regional cooperation in Northern Europe, security policy cooperation between the Nordic Countries, including crisis management activities in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Chad / Sudan area, climate and energy questions, the situation in the Middle East and the UN reforms.
