Postal voting 2019: order voting documents
A possibility to vote by post will be introduced in the parliamentary elections of spring 2019. This means that eligible voters who reside abroad permanently (expatriate Finns) and eligible voters who reside in Finland but are abroad at the time of the elections may vote by post. Advance voting will be arranged at Finnish diplomatic and consular missions abroad in the same manner as before.

Life in Finland
The exhibition illustrates Finland, which gained its Independence at 1917, by presenting 49 objects from different decades in Finland with casual, industrial and humorous examples. These objects describe different phases in Finland and tells about being a Finn. As themes are used climate, light, childhood, taste and aim to simple beauty.

INTERNATIONAL GENDER EQUALITY PRIZE GIVEN IN FINLAND
The International Gender Equality Prize was introduced by the Finnish Government in 2017 to celebrate Finland’s 100th anniversary of independence. The first-ever recipient of the prize was Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany who has become one of the world’s most influential people and is an example to many women and girls.
