Our services 

The services of our missions abroad are available to your company. We provide up-to-date market information, facilitate establishing contacts and help in market access issues. 

The services provided by the missions are part of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ business services. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is a member of Team Finland, a network of public sector actors providing internationalisation services to Finnish companies.

The Embassy of Finland in Kyiv supports Finnish companies interested in the Ukrainian market as well as companies already operating in Ukraine. We provide information on the business environment and emerging opportunities, facilitate contacts with relevant partners and stakeholders, and assist companies with market access issues.

The services provided by the Embassy are part of the MFA business services and are delivered in close cooperation with the Team Finland network, which brings together public sector actors supporting the internationalization of Finnish companies.

In Ukraine, our work has a particular focus on opportunities arising from the country’s recovery and reconstruction. We help Finnish companies identify relevant projects and partners, establish contacts with Ukrainian authorities, municipalities and businesses, and navigate the networks and financing opportunities related to reconstruction.

Goals of the Team Finland network in Ukraine

In Ukraine Team Finland brings together the Embassy of Finland and other Team Finland organizations and partners supporting Finnish companies and Finland-Ukraine economic development.

Our goal is to strengthen commercial and economic relations between Finland and Ukraine, support Finnish companies already present in the market or interested in entering it, and increase awareness of the opportunities that the Ukrainian market offers.

We aim to connect Ukraine’s concrete needs with Finnish expertise and solutions and to support Finnish companies in developing long-term partnerships with Ukrainian businesses, municipalities, authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Market information

Ukraine’s business environment is evolving rapidly as the country responds to the ongoing war while advancing recovery, reconstruction and reforms linked to its EU integration. Team Finland follows market developments, reconstruction priorities and emerging business opportunities and shares relevant information with Finnish companies.

Our experts

Finnish honorary consulates

Honorary consulates complement Finland’s network of missions abroad, which consists of embassies, consulates general, consulates and liaison offices. Honorary consuls are private individuals who carry out consular functions on a part-time basis without remuneration. An honorary consul can advise Finnish companies on how to get information on local business culture and find business partners, among other matters.
