Tightening the education cooperation between Türkiye and Finland - Erasmus+ student Dilge Varli: people should not miss the opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus+ programme.
The Erasmus+ programme enables training and studying abroad, and several Finns and Turks take advantage of this opportunity yearly. During the corona pandemic, the number of exchanges decreased, but they are expected to increase in the future. Ph.D. student Dilge Varli studied at the University of Helsinki through the Erasmus+ programme in the spring of 2022 from the Middle East Technical University (METU).

Education cooperation between Finland and Türkiye– already good, but vast potential for future
Finland has one best education systems in the world. “We in Finland do not ask what the cost of education is, but what the cost of not educating people would be.” said Ambassador Ari Mäki, who gave a speech about Finnish education at CHP-party’s Education Symposium in Ankara on 23.6.2022.
Suomesta Naton tarkkailijajäsen
Nato-maat allekirjoittivat Suomen ja Ruotsin Nato-jäsenyyttä koskevat liittymispöytäkirjat Naton päämajassa Brysselissä tiistaina 5. heinäkuuta ja Suomesta sekä Ruotsista tuli Naton tarkkailijajäseniä. Seuraavaksi liittymispöytäkirjat tulee ratifioida jokaisessa jäsenmaassa ennen kuin Suomen ja Ruotsin jäsenyys astuu voimaan.
