Finnish women do sports
The Embassy´s act to introduce gender equality in February is Finnish women in sport. Finnish work on gender equality is founded on the Government Programme and Government´s action plans for gender equality as well as the Sports Act and the policies issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Finland - unquestionably a pioneer of democracy
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs will participate in the campaign 100 Acts for Gender Equality organized by the National Council of Women of Finland and the Council for Gender Equality as part of the celebrations and official programme of the centenary of Finland’s independence. The Embassy´s act is to introduce once a month one person or an event that promoted gender equality and women's rights.
