Pekka of Finland - Contemporary Illustration from the Land of Booze and Blondes
From 9th May until 24th May Athens will host an exhibition titled Pekka of Finland - Contemporary Illustration from the Land of Booze and Blondes that brings forth ten of the top international illustrators from Agent Pekka’s team. Grafia, the Association of Professional Graphic Designers in Finland, conferred the title of the Graphic Designer of the Year 2011 on Agent Pekka.
The illustrators are: Lotta Nieminen, Inka Järvinen, Sanna Mander, Rami Niemi, Janine Rewell, Pietari Posti, Minni Havas, Sac Magique, Santtu Mustonen and Antti Uotila.
The exhibition is part of World Design Capital Helsinki 2012. The Athens exhibition is organised by the Finnish Institute at Athens and the Athens Municipality.
