The festival has been organized since 1962. Today it gathers more than 200 000 participants yearly. This year the theme is ‘Baltic Sea’ and it can be seen in all actions, starting from a special seminar ending to a Baltic Sea Village in the festival area.

The festival offers a superb setting of maritime culture, visiting vessels, a concert programme from rock to classical music, a sea song competition, maritime jazz, exhibitions, street theater and a special festival for children, the Children’s Maritime Festival.
