Kiasma - 10 year contemporary art
Kiasma was opened, accompanied by festivities, on the last weekend of May in 1998. Kiasma has subsequently established its position as a national meeting place. The milestone of two million visitors was reached in May 2006.
The ten year anniversary of Kiasma started with the collections exhibition "Image and After" opening in January. The spring of Kiasma Theatre presents both international and Finnish highlights of the performing contemporary art.
In the tenth anniversary exhibition " Fluid Street – alone, together", a street functions as a metaphorical space, a common everyday space or a flow of time.
