Kaipaus Finland is known for its nanotechnology-based scented jewellery collection. At the heart of the concept are the nanofrago scent pods developed by the company. These ceramic pods absorb scents added to them, then release them gradually over a period of weeks and sometimes months.

The design team behind the Finnish-made products is a group of internationally renowned designers including Paola Suhonen and Antti Eklund. Production values take into account aesthetics, sociability, sustainability and the environment.

The EEN network assists small- and medium-sized enterprises at all stages of working with EU internal markets, internationalization and technology transfer. The network operates in 47 countries and during its first two years has served more than two million customers. In Finland its operations are co-ordinated by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy.
