Foreign Ministry continues search for two Finns in the US

The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs is still trying to locate two Finns in the United States. One of the persons was in transit to Finland via New York and the other was on holiday and most likely has already left New York.

The 24-hour crisis centre of the Foreign Ministry has been distmantled and personal inquiries will be forwarded as usual by the consular unit, tel: +358 - 9 - 134151. Inquiries regarding the terror attacks in the United States should now be limited only to those people whose locations are not confirmed or who can be exptected to have stayed in New York during the attacks.
