Polish Foreign Minister to visit Finland

Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen will meet Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski in Helsinki on 14 March.

The Foreign Ministers will discuss the relations between Finland and Poland and European security. Other topics on the agenda will be current issues related to the activities of the EU, NATO and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
 
“Finland and Poland have good and close relations that will be further strengthened by Foreign Minister Sikorski’s visit. Our countries have a great deal in common. We share the same security policy environment and situation picture and are close partners both in the EU and in NATO,” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Valtonen.
 
During his visit to Finland, Minister Sikorski will also meet President of the Republic Alexander Stubb.
