Working in Finland and work permits

Working in Finland is an information pack for people moving to Finland. List of required documents for a work permit is available in Albanian on the website of the Finnish Immigration Service. You can read them yourself and book the appointment at the Embassy yourself.

We recommend everyone to read the Working in Finland-brochure. The brochure is available also in Albanian here.(Link to another website.)

  • No payment required for arranging the job.

  • Your only expenses are: application fee, charges related to documents, and ticket for your trip to Finland.

  • Before you depart for Finland, make sure that the job promised to you actually exists.

  • Do not sign an employment contract or any other document if you do not understand what it says. Ask if anything in the contract is unclear to you.

  • As a foreigner, you have the same rights and responsibilities at work as a Finnish employee, even if you do not have a residence permit.
