Permit services at the Embassy of Finland in Hanoi continue to stay suspended until further notice

Due to the COVID-19 development, measures taken in Finland and the continuing interruption of international travel, the Embassy of Finland in Hanoi will not yet resume full permit services for Schengen-visa and residence permit applications. Further information will be provided on the Embassy web page when possible.

The Embassy of Finland in Hanoi has suspended its regular permit services until further notice. The Embassy does not accept regular permit applications. Identification and interviews for residence permit applications have been suspended. The Visa Application Centers of Finland in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City are also closed.

The Embassy serves Finnish citizens and permanent residents of Finland according to the consular services act. The Embassy also provides passport and notary services such as regarding registrations to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.

Updates on the possible opening of the permit services will be shared on the Embassy’s website as soon as possible. Customers are recommended to follow the website for further instructions. Customers are kindly requested to prepare for possible delays in customer service.
