Finland celebrates 100 years of independence in 2017 with centennial events throughout the United States. One of the most exciting centennial projects will be the Traveling Sauna. Ambassador of Finland Kirsti Kauppi will inaugurate the sauna in Minneapolis on January 14.

My fellow citizens, Milestone anniversaries are important to us. For some, it is a certain age, for others when a community reaches round figures. Many of us remember that significant events, good or bad, happened so and so many decades ago.
