Consulate General of Finland in Los Angeles will bring the portable passport and identity card unit to Anchorage (AK), on April 26, 2025. An appointment for passport renewal is required, and the application must be submitted in person.

Appointments are made through our appointment service system(Link to another website.)(Link to another website.). The automatic appointment confirmation email will contain the detailed instructions as well as location information.

Passport and identity card applications can only be processed if the applicant’s personal information in the Finnish Population Information System is accurate and up-to-date (e.g., a name change due to marriage or the birth of the child must be registered to the Finnish population registry before applying for passport or identity card). According to the Population Information Act (661/2009), the applicant shall ensure that the personal information is correct. Personal data can be checked from Digital and Population Data Services Agency(Link to another website.)(Link to another website.) once a year free of charge.

The Consulate General reserves the right to cancel /postpone the trip.
