This letter is not a mandatory travel document, and the Finnish Border Guard does not require it to be presented, but it can be a helpful document for you to present to the border agents at check-in here in the US to verify your allowed entry status to Finland. Please check the required travel documents, travel insurance requirements etc. directly from the airline before booking your flight.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

 

The following passengers are permitted to enter Finland via Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport:

  • Finnish nationals and their family members
  • Nationals of other EU and Schengen countries, who are residing in Finland and their family members
  • Third-country nationals residing in Finland with a resident permit
