Janne:
"The Press days in Helsinki were a fantastic experience. It was great to receive training about the strengths of Finland, public diplomacy, and country image work. We learned a lot about the tools we have in our use in the ministry. Discussing the communication strategy was useful to understand the big picture of why we do this, and what the role of our Embassy is. Networking with colleagues from Helsinki and other Embassies was also a great thing for us since we learnt a lot from their best practices".

Firat:
"Gorgeous nature, happy and peaceful people.
After my first year at the embassy, it was exciting to visit Finland for the first time and attend the Press Days in Helsinki, considering my work in  country promotion. The training program was quite interesting and informative. The training, which started with the speech of Minister Haavisto, covered many current issues extensively. Food tastings and city tours as a part of the training made our visit colorful. It was a fascinating experience to see the city of Porvoo and Sipoonkorpi National Park in our spare time with Mr. Janne Leskinen, who attended the training with me. It would have been a great loss to go to a country famous for its natural beauty without a drone, so I took many shots. You can find the video I compiled from these shots below. In conclusion, the trip to Finland was very enlightening for the image of the country in my head. I will never forget the magnificent sights I saw, the clean air and water, and the respectful society".
