Finland supports Serbian Government in disclosing the fate of Kosovo war victims
Finland is supporting investigations into Kosovo war crimes and the fate of persons who went missing during the Kosovo war. The European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) and the Serbian authorities have spent a number of years investigating war crimes committed during the Kosovo war. In connection with this, EULEX and the Serbian Committee for Refugees and Migrants are conducting excavations to search for the remains of people who were executed or went missing due to these crimes. Expertise in budgeting shared with Macedonian partners
Finland is transferring expertise to Macedonia in an EU Twinning project titled "Strengthening the medium term budgeting for effective public financial management", which was started in December 2015 and will continue until November 2017.

Divna Nikolic retires after 49 years of work for the Embassy
If Divna Nikolic, the housekeeper at the Embassy of Finland in Belgrade, had retired next year, she would have been celebrating her personal anniversary – 50 years of work in the Embassy – together with Finland celebrating its 100 years of independence.

Finnish consumer goods company introduced itself to stakeholders in the Western Balkans
Embassy of Finland, Finnish consumer goods company Fiskars, and Fiskars' local garden tool distributor Agromarket jointly organised a promotional event at Ambassador’s Residence on 27 September. The event was aimed at introducing Fiskars garden products to local stakeholders and business representatives.

Nordic companies share their know-how with Serbian partners
