The prolonged COVID-19 epidemic has led to an exceptional situation for travellers. This summer, borders have gradually started to open up and, thanks to vaccinations, safe and healthy travel is possible to a greater extent. Many Finns are also spending their holidays abroad. Second edition of ‘EU at Your School’ closes with attendance of over 10,000 students
Over 10,000 students aged 13 to 20 from 27 Singapore education institutions met with European Union (EU) representatives in the second edition of the ‘EU at Your School’ project (#EUatYourSchool), where they got insights about the EU and its relations with Singapore. The project, which started on 31 March and will continue through July 2021, builds on the positive feedback of the inaugural edition in 2019.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs recommends exercising special caution when travelling to the EU and Schengen area The Ministry also recommends avoiding unnecessary travel to countries outside the EU and Schengen area, except for countries for which the restrictions on entry have been lifted.

Nordic Green Run 2021 brought together over 1,600 runners online in a race to protect the ocean
The race, called ‘The Nordic Green Run’, jointly organised by the Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, attracted more than 1,600 participants from the Nordic communities including local runners, to run as many kilometers as possible to protect marine biodiversity in waters surrounding Singapore.
