Education at a Glance 2007 has been published
OECD has published its annual data set on education. Education at a Glance 2007 tells that the Finns are well educated. Finland is one of the most equitable countries in providing education and training for all individuals regardless of their previous education. Educational opportunities are also equal for boys and girls. In Finland education is almost entirely publicly funded. Increase of private funding especially at the tertiary level should be encouraged.
