100 years of Finland's country branding through the film industry

As a part of the centenary celebrations, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs together with the National Audiovisual Institute (KAVI) will organise a country branding seminar: 100 years of Finland's country branding through the film industry.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday 18 April from 15.00 to 17.30 at Orion, Eerikinkatu 15, Helsinki.

The seminar will present films that have marketed Finland over the years, such as Finland (1911), Suomi kutsuu (1940), Friendly Finland (1951), Urheileva Suomi (1974), Smith & Jonesin Finland for Adults (1987) as well as the most recent audiovisual material used in country branding work.
