The silence and beauty of Finnish Nature are especially close to her heart. Her photo exhibition “Soul of the Forest” highlights the beauty of untouched Finnish nature. Most of the photos were taken in Northeast Finland (Koillismaa and Kainuu). Photos of wild brown bears in the exhibition were photographed in Kuhmo close to the Russian border in the “hide” of Wildlife Safaris Finland. It is a company specializing in wildlife photography, founded by internationally awarded wildlife and nature photographer Lassi Rautiainen(Link to another website.). Wildlife Safaris offers everyone a possibility to stay at the “hide” in the middle of untouched forest to experience and photograph nature and wildlife.

The photo exhibition “Soul of the Forest” has been exhibited in the Finnish Embassies in Bangkok, Thailand from April until August 2017 and in Canberra, Australia from December 2017  until January 2018.

With this exhibition we want to highlight the multiple faces of Finnish nature – we are very well known as a winter destination but there is beautiful and untouched nature also beyond the winter months.

The exhibition is open on Mon-Fri 07.00 – 19.00 hrs (Thu 07.00 – 21.30 hrs) and on Sat 09.30 – 17.00 hrs. The Atrium is closed on Friday, 27 April.
