Chinese leader Luo Gan visits Finland

One of the top leaders of China, Mr Luo Gan, who is a member of the Standing Committee working under the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, will visit Finland on 9-12 September at the invitation of Minister of Justice Johannes Koskinen and Minister of the Interior Kari Rajamäki. During his visit, Luo Gan will meet Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, Speaker of Parliament Paavo Lipponen, Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja, Minister of Justice Johannes Koskinen, and Minister of the Interior Kari Rajamäki. Moreover, Luo Gan and his delegation will get acquainted with the Finnish political parties and businesses and will visit Northern Finland.

Official discussions during Luo Gan's visit will focus on bilateral relations, judicial developments and reforms in China, local government, as well as law drafting and police and court systems in the two countries.
