Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov of Russia to visit Finland

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov of Russia will make a visit to Turku on 9–10 June at the invitation of Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja. The meeting will focus on the situation in Ukraine and other current international issues, including relations between the EU and Russia. The Ministers will also discuss bilateral issues between Finland and Russia as well as regional cooperation. During his visit Foreign Minister Lavrov will also meet with President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö.
