Organisational reform has changed the addresses and e-mail addresses in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs

The contact information for the departments of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs has changed. The new addresses and e-mail addresses were adopted as a result of the organisational reform of the Ministry that entered into force on 1 September.

As of 1 September, the postal address of the Registry Office of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs that has to be used when sending official documents is: Ministry for Foreign Affairs, P.O. Box 176, FI-00023 Government.

For other deliveries, the post office box addresses created for the various Ministry premises can be utilised. Separate post office box addresses have also been created for the Finnish representations abroad. The direct box addresses of the Ministry’s units and representations are available at the Ministry website at

Due to the organisational reform, various ministry units have also been given a new identification code, needed for sending e-mails.

In the ministry, all e-mail addresses are of the form unit identification [email protected]; for instance the e-mail address of the Unit for Communications is [email protected] All unit identification codes can be found at the ministry website at
