The Ministry for Foreign Affairs hosts an event concerning EU-US trade negotiations

The negotiations on Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership between the European Union and the United States were launched in July. The second round of talks will be arranged on the second week of October. The relevant preparations are underway in both the EU and the U.S.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs will host an event concerning the negotiations on Tuesday 17 September. The event will provide an overview of the current status of the negotiations and the goals Finland and the U.S. have for them, and specify which matter fall within the scope of negotiations and which do not.
