Foreign Minister Tuomioja to the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting

The Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union will meet in Brussels on 15 December. Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will represent Finland at the meeting.

The main topics of the meeting are Iraq, Syria and ISIL. The ministers will also discuss the Western Balkans, the situation in Ukraine, the Ebola epidemic and the situation in Libya.

The Foreign Affairs Council is preceded by informal meetings of the EU Foreign Ministers with UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.
