Foreign Minister Stubb to meet with Secretary of State Clinton in Washington, D.C.

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will meet with the American Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington, D.C. on Monday, 11 May. The topics to be discussed at the meeting include bilateral relations, trans-Atlantic issues, the situation in the Middle East, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey and Russia as well as climate change.

Stubb will be in Washington, D.C. on 11–12 May and will meet with representatives of the American administration, Congress and research institutes. An event for attendance by invitation only will be held during the visit, to mark the 90-year history of diplomatic relations between Finland and the USA.
