Foreign Minister Kanerva to meet Armenian Foreign Minister Oskanian

Foreign Minister Kanerva will meet Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian on Tuesday, 6 November.

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Oskanian will travel to Finland together with President Robert Kocharian, who is making an official visit to Finland on 6—7 November. The President’s itinerary includes, for instance, a meeting with President of the Republic Tarja Halonen.

In their bilateral meeting, Foreign Ministers Kanerva and Oskanian will discuss, for instance, the current OSCE affairs and the Finnish OSCE Chairmanship in 2008.

During the meeting, the ministers will also handle regional questions, including the situation of Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia's relations with its neighbouring countries.
