Foreign Minister Kanerva to participate in the Lennart Meri Conference

Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva will participate in the Lennart Meri Conference, to be held in Tallinn on 29-30 March, under the theme "An Ever Elusive Europe". The conference is jointly organised by the International Centre for Defence Studies and the Lennart Meri European Foundation. The patron of the conference is President Toomas Hendrik Ilves, who is also one of the hosts.

In the conference, Kanerva will participate in, for instance, a panel discussion examining foreign and security policy from the perspective of Nordic-Baltic cooperation. Other participants in the debate include the foreign ministers of Estonia and Latvia, and Commissioner Olli Rehn, among others.
