Foreign Minister Kanerva released from hospital

Foreign Minister Ilkka Kanerva has been discharged from hospital, where he had been under observation for a little over a day owing to an all-terrain vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday evening, 4 September in Vierumäki.

As announced earlier, Foreign Minister Kanerva’s appointments for the rest of this week have been cancelled. Kanerva has been granted sick leave for next week, but he will try to handle his duties as the situation allows.
