Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb to visit Berlin

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will meet with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle in Berlin on Thursday, 21 October.
During their working lunch, the foreign ministers will discuss EU strategic partnerships, especially the EU’s relations with Russia and the United States, the upcoming G20 Meeting, EU enlargement (Turkey, the Western Balkans), the Finnish–Turkish peace negotiation initiative made in the UN and topical external relations issues such as the Middle East and Afghanistan.
During the visit Foreign Minister Stubb will also meet with Christoph Heusgen, Advisor on Foreign and Security Policy to Federal Chancellor Merkel, and Uwe Corsepius, the next Secretary General of the Council of the European Union.
