Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb to make his first visit to Norway

Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb will go to Oslo for his first visit on Monday, 5 May. During the trip he will meet with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre to discuss, among other issues, bilateral relations between Finland and Norway, Nordic security policy cooperation, affairs concerning Russia and the situation in the Middle East.

Stubb will also pay a visit to the Storting, the Norwegian Parliament, where he will have talks with, among others, Thorbjørn Jagland, President of the Storting. In addition, Foreign Minister Stubb will take part in a panel discussion organised by the European Commission, the topic of which is “Does the EU threaten the Nordic welfare model?”
