Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen to St. Petersburg

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen will visit St. Petersburg on 6–7 June, to attend the 12th International Economic Forum. The forum participants will include business and political leaders from all over the world. The opening speech will be given by President Dmitri Medvedev of Russia.

During his trip Minister Väyrynen will meet with Valentina Matvienko, the Governor of St. Petersburg. The topics of the meeting are economic relations between Finland and St. Petersburg and neighbouring area cooperation. The agenda also includes a meeting with representatives of Finnish businesses operating in St. Petersburg.
