Seminars related to the Report on Finnish Foreign and Security Policy

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is currently preparing the Report on Finnish Foreign and Security Policy in cooperation with the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of the Interior and the Office of the President of the Republic. The report is to be submitted to Parliament during its spring session of 2016. The Government will prepare the Defence Policy Report later on.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and local partners of cooperation will co-organise four seminars where the themes of the report can be discussed:

Tampere, 22 March
Jyväskylä, 5 April
Rovaniemi, 12 April
Helsinki, later in the spring

The Foreign Ministry will be represented in the events by, among others, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy Anne Sipiläinen. The themes of the seminars will vary from topical challenges in the EU to sustainable development.
