Slovakian Foreign Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda to visit Helsinki

Foreign Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda of Slovakia will visit Helsinki on Tuesday, 18 January at the invitation of Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb. The foreign ministers will have bilateral talks. During his visit, Foreign Minister Dzurinda will also meet with Speaker of Parliament Sauli Niinistö.
The foreign ministers will discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Slovakia as well as topical issues in EU affairs, such as the European External Action Service and the EU Eastern Partnership. Other current foreign policy issues will also be discussed; for instance, the Middle East peace process and the situations in Iran and Afghanistan.
