Ministers for Nordic Cooperation meet in the Nuuksio National Park

The first meeting of the Ministers for Nordic Cooperation during Finland's Presidency of Nordic inter-governmental cooperation will be held at the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia in Espoo on 3 February 2016. Minister of Transport and Communications Anne Berner serves as Finland's Minister for Nordic Cooperation.

The topics of discussion will include, among other things, the budget of the Council of Ministers for 2017, further development of the modernization of the Nordic cooperation, as well as the Nordic collaboration in the integration of refugees and immigrants.  At a lunch meeting, the Ministers will discuss barriers to free movement after a presentation given by Risto E.J. Penttilä, Chairman of the Freedom of Movement Council.
