Prime Minister Vanhanen expresses condolences on the bus crash in Spain

On behalf of the Finnish Government, Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen extended his most sincere condolences to the families of victims of the bus crash in Spain and to all those touched by this sad accident. He conveyed his gratitude, and that of the people of Finland, to the Spanish authorities for their excellent management of the situation after the accident. Prime Minister Vanhanen was also pleased with the good cooperation between the authorities and the tour operator.

Prime Minister Vanhanen hopes that the work to identify the victims of the accident carried out by Finnish and Spanish authorities is completed as soon as possible to free the Finnish homes from the uncertainty of the situation.
