Foreign Ministry's crisis response centre has been opened for families of victims of coach crash in Spain

A coach full of Finnish passengers collided with another vehicle on the highway between Fuengirola and Torremolinos in Spain at about 19:45 on Saturday 19 April. According to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, eight Finnish citizens were killed in the crash and 15 to 17 Finns are seriously injured. All passengers were clients of Aurinkomatkat Travel Agency and on their way to the airport.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Alexander Stubb expresses his condolences to the families of the victims. Minister Stubb has discussed with the Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, who also expressed the Spanish Government's condolences to the families of the victims of the accident.
