Ministers Stubb and Väyrynen to visit Moscow

The President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will be making an official visit to Russia on 8-11 November. The delegation will stop in Moscow and Kazan. Minister for Foreign Affairs Alexander Stubb and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen will join the President.

During the visit, Stubb will meet with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Minister Väyrynen's agenda includes meetings with Economic Development Minister of Russia Elvira Nabiullina and Minister of Industry and Commerce Victor Hristenko. A business delegation travelling with the group will take part in the latter meeting.

In addition, both Ministers will have other separate meetings.
