Minister Väyrynen to make an export promotion trip to Novosibirsk

Paavo Väyrynen, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, will make an export promotion trip to Novosibirsk, Russia on 7–9 April. Minister Väyrynen will be accompanied by a 15-person business delegation.

The purpose of the visit is to promote the cooperation opportunities of Finnish companies in Novosibirsk and wider in the regions of Russia beyond the Ural Mountains. The trip focuses on logistics, information and communications technology, innovation, construction and business in services.

During his visit Minister Väyrynen will meet with the Governor of Novosibirsk region, will learn about the region’s expertise in science and technology, and will visit the science town Akademgorodok and various companies.
