Minister Väyrynen to make an export promotion visit to Arkhangelsk

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen will visit Arkhangelsk, Russia, on 6–8 October. The business delegation accompanying the Minister will consist of representatives from 15 major Finnish companies.

The objective of the export promotion visit is to promote the co-operation opportunities of Finnish companies in energy, environmental, logistics, infrastructure and maritime industry projects in northern regions of Russia.

During his visit, Minister Väyrynen will meet the Governor of the Arkhangelsk Oblast and get acquainted with regional industry and its representatives. He will also visit Severodvinsk where he will meet the mayor. In addition, the Minister will get acquainted with the local shipbuilding industry.
