Minister Väyrynen to meet Sweden’s minister for trade

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen will meet Sweden’s Minister for Trade Ewa Björling in Helsinki on Friday, 18 January. The topics of discussion between the ministers will include, among others, WTO and general trade issues, connections between trade and climate change, the Nordic Aid for Trade cooperation – i.e. assistance supporting trade – and the economic cooperation in the Baltic Sea region.

Minister for Trade Björling was appointed to minister last autumn. This is Björling’s first ministerial visit to Finland.
