Minister Väyrynen to attend the meeting of Nordic Ministers for Foreign Trade in Helsinki

Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynen will attend the meeting of Nordic Ministers for Foreign Trade to be held in Helsinki on Monday 27 October. The meeting will be chaired by Swedish Minister for Foreign Trade Ewa Björling, since Sweden is currently acting as the President of the Nordic Council.

In their meeting, the Ministers for Foreign Trade will discuss, for instance, Nordic border obstacles cooperation, cooperation between the Nordic and Baltic Countries, the EU’s Lisbon Strategy, the status of the WTO Doha Round, and issues related to the climate change and development.

The meeting is part of the 60th Session of the Nordic Council.
