Minister Stubb to London and Oxford

Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb will travel to London and Oxford on 15-16 September.

On Thursday, 15 September in London, he will have meetings with Minister of State responsible for European issues and NATO David Lidington and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Edward Davey. The discussions will focus on key EU and trade policy issues. Minister Stubb will also meet representatives of Finnish companies operating in the United Kingdom at an event organised by the Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce.

On Friday 16 September, Minister Stubb will participate in the Global Horizons conference at Christ Church in Oxford. The conference focuses on global challenges and their effects on business. At the conference, Minister Stubb will take part in the discussion on the future of Europe with a topic Plotting Europe’s Path to Recovery.
