Jussi Seppälä nominated as Press Officer to Finland's Permanent Representation to the European Union

Jussi Seppälä The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has nominated reporter Jussi Seppälä, Licentiate in Social Sciences, as a fixed-term Press Officer to Finland's Permanent Representation to the European Union in Brussels as from 1 March. Seppälä has worked for the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE TV News for twenty years in all, mainly as a foreign news reporter. He worked as the Company's EU correspondent in Brussels from 2002 to 2007. He has gained extensive knowledge of EU issues in his studies as well; in fact, his licentiate dissertation dealt with Finland's EU policy.

Before entering his post in Brussels, Seppälä will get acquainted with his tasks at the Department for Communications and Culture of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs at the end of February.

Seppälä will succeed Marko Ruonala as the Press Officer of the Permanent Representation.
